Picovoy ("Picovoy", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered travel itinerary application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information when you use the App:
- Account information: email address, and (if you choose) a display name and profile photo. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifiers those providers share with us to authenticate you.
- Photos you submit: images you take or upload so the App can analyze them and generate a travel itinerary.
- Itinerary and preference data: travel plans generated for you, saved itineraries, and any preferences you set (e.g. destinations, travel dates, notification settings).
- Purchase information: subscription tier and status. Payments are processed entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system — we never receive or store your payment card details.
- Device and usage data: basic technical data such as app version and device type, used for debugging and reliability.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and secure your account, and let you sign in.
- To analyze photos you submit and generate personalized travel itineraries and destination recommendations.
- To store and let you retrieve your saved itineraries, avatar, and preferences.
- To process and manage your subscription, and unlock the features you've paid for.
- To send you transactional email (e.g. email verification, password reset) and, if enabled, notifications about your itineraries.
- To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the App.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the App, each acting under their own privacy and security commitments:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Cloudflare R2 — secure storage for photos you upload.
- OpenAI — processes photos you submit to generate itinerary analysis and recommendations.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription state across Apple's In-App Purchase system.
- Apple / Google — if you choose to sign in with these providers.
- Resend — delivers transactional emails (e.g. verification, password reset) on our behalf.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Picovoy, our users, or others.
Data Retention
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App's features. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below and we will act on your request within a reasonable time.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the App.
